Coach / Volunteer Information

All Head Coaches (not assistant coaches) will receive $50 off their total registration for their own children if registered by June 8th, 2024 Please use the coupon code below at checkout.

Head Coaches must register themselves at the time of their player registration to use the coupon.

Important Dates

  • May 11th --  Early Registration Opens  
  • May 18th -- Normal registration Opens 
  • August 5th and 6th -- Soccer Evaluations (Not for 4u and 6u divisions)
  • August 9th and 10th -- Coaches Draft/ Rules Meetings (Not for 4u and 6u coaches)
  • August 12th and 13th @ 6:15pm -- Coaches Meeting (For all head and assistant coaches) 
  • August 16th @ 6:15pm -- Meet the Coach Night 
    • In the worship Center of Salem Baptist Church
  • August 17th -- First Practice for ALL Teams 
  • September 14th -- Opening Day For All Teams 
  • November 4-9th - End of Season Tournament (Not for 4u and 6u Divisions) 
  • November 9th -- Last Game for 4u and 6u divisions
  • November 10th -- End of season Celebration

Head Coach Pre Season To-Do-List

  • Pray over future players and their families
  • Complete background check (If Applicable)
    • All volunteers must haver an active background check on file with Salem Baptist Church. If you have previously completed one for Salem Baptist Church AND it will be active throughout the spring season, then you will not need to fill another one out
    • The background form is available when registering as a coach.
  • Submit player freezes (On coach tab at top of website)
    • All Head Coaches may freeze up to 4 players from last years team (not including  their own children) 
    • Freezes are for coaches in the 8U, 10U, 13U Divisions
  • Submit player requests (On coach tab at top of website)
    • All Head coaches may request up to 4 players (outside their own children) to be on their team
    • Player requests are for 4U and 6U Divisions
    • We do our best to meet parent requests for these divisions
  • Find your assistant coach
    • All teams must have one main assistant coach
    • We iillm provide jerseys for one head coach and one assistant coach.
    • All other assistant coaches, outside the primary assistant, will need to pay for their own.
